What's opening down the road

Fresh Ink is a free weekly guide to the new businesses in Northeast Mississippi. Every Monday we read the week's new business filings with the Mississippi Secretary of State, take out the holding companies and paperwork shells, and publish the real ones: the new shops, trucking outfits, farms, contractors, and makers in your county.

Where the information comes from

Everything on this site comes from public filings with the Mississippi Secretary of State. We show each business's name, trade, town, county, filing date, and the industry code the owner chose. We don't publish street addresses, because many new businesses are registered at someone's home.

For businesses

Fresh Ink Pro ($49 a month) is for the people who help new businesses get going: insurance agents, bankers, accountants, web designers, sign shops. Pro subscribers get the full weekly list with mailing addresses and a website check, by email every Monday.

Sponsors ($150 an issue) get their name on the issue and can own a trade, like new restaurants or new contractors. New business owners can claim their listing to add a link, hours, and a photo.
